I am a mom (7 kids, 4 fur babies, a mini farm), fiance, a graduate, a business professional and designer.
If you are anything like me, you do not live for the cliches. I am someone who is always looking for something that is different, unique, and stands out from the crowd. So, I began to making things for myself because I could never find anything I truly loved or something that simply just fit me properly. Every since my mom allowed me to dress myself, I learned that not only do I have a true passion for fashion, but I am very passionate about true and authentic self-expression through the things I wear and own.
My true passion for what I do is translated in the things I create. Most people can tell you that they have gone through years of school, or hundreds of hours in training courses, but I can proudly say I only took 1 sewing class in high school. Everything I know now, and everything I can do, I taught myself. I have perfected my craft by finding what works best all through a lot of trial and error. I firmly believe either you have it or you don't. Endless amounts of training can not give someone a niche for something.
am very attentive, passionate and I love working with each and every one of my clients one-on-one to create a custom, unique, one-of-a-kind and high quality piece(s). The pieces I create range from competition suits/bikinis, game day gear, competition theme wear, luxury bikinis, work uniforms and much more. My main goal is to fulfill my clients orders with 100% satisfaction and earning their trust.
How my company came about...
I have made myself clothes, dresses, bikinis, costumes etc and a lot of my coworkers and friends took notice and I began to get a lot of requests for things to be created for them too and that is how I started making custom goods. Everything I create it all with my heart and if I don't love it too I will not feel right giving it to my client.
What does Avasty mean?
Avasty is a word I actually made up. When I decided I needed a more unique name for my business it was during a time I was trying to conceive. I really wanted a baby girl and my fiance wanted to name her Majesty and a name I always loved was Ava. Funny thing is, I came up with Ava in highschool laying in my room, but then out of no where it was an extremely popular name. So, I took Ava and Majesty and combined them and that is how I came up with Avasty.
